Another Winter?
There are at least a couple of other bands using the Winter name. One is based in USA and details about them can be found easily enough on the web. They are a death metal outfit. There is also a Swedish band called Winter [or The Winter Band]. Neither have any link with the original Winter from Northern Ireland.
Friends
Winter had great assistance from wonderful musician and producer, Lawrence Thomson [very sadly no longer with us], Paul Murray – superb keyboard player and producer [co-founder of excellent bands The Bombay Talkies, The Templeguards and more recently The Krell], sound specialists Bill and Walter Armstrong, Johnny Hero from Downtown Radio [now with U105] and many other fine musicians, family and friends who attended the shows.
